In 2001, Tarik Bouziane founded Acconcil in Casablanca on one conviction: an independent Moroccan firm can work to the standard of the very largest.
Background
Trained at EY, Tarik Bouziane has worked since 1995 with internationally minded groups on audit, financial reporting and due diligence. He has led many complex cross-border engagements, particularly between Morocco and France.
From those years he kept rigour, method and a demand for accurate accounts — along with a conviction: a business needs someone who genuinely knows its file and who is there at the moment of deciding.
A method
His approach goes beyond the audit opinion. It consists in identifying the key risks of the business and building them into the audit and reporting process.
Reports delivered to audit committees gain in usefulness, and directors can react without delay to changes in their business.

Twenty-five years after it was founded, the firm led by Tarik Bouziane brings together:
